Prediction for CME (2025-08-25T09:36:00-CME-001)CME Observed Time: 2025-08-25T09:36ZiSWAS Layout URL: https://kauai.ccmc.gsfc.nasa.gov/DONKI/view/CME/40838/-1 CME Note: Narrow fan-shaped CME/jet seen to the S in SOHO LASCO and GOES CCOR-1 and to the SSE in STEREO A COR2. Its front is very unclear in LASCO and in CCOR-1 and the CME looks much narrower in these coronagraphs than in COR2A. Its source is likely the slow southern eruption close to the central meridian as seen in SDO staring after 2025-08-25T08:30Z and centered around ~(S35W02). It is seen mostly as dimming in SDO AIA 193. CME was not detected at Earth. Observed Geomagnetic Storm Parameters due to CME: ---- Predicted Arrival Time: 2025-08-28T08:00Z Predicted geomagnetic storm max Kp range due to CME: 3.0 - 5.0 Prediction Method: Average of all Methods Prediction Method Note: This is the auto generated average of all submitted predictions for this CMELead Time: 58.63 hour(s) Difference: ----- Prediction submitted by Auto Generated (CCMC) on 2025-08-25T21:22Z |
